Music & Memories is not just a performance, it is a thoughtfully designed, fun, and interactive music program created to engage residents, stimulate reminiscence, and build meaningful social connection through live music.
Designed specifically for retirement homes and senior living communities, each session combines live performance, storytelling, nostalgia, and resident participation into an experience that feels personal, joyful, and deeply human.

Music & Memories aims to foster intellectual growth, emotional well-being, and a strong sense of community. Combining music appreciation, analysis, and group singing, participants will enhance their cognitive and emotional well-being while celebrating the joy of learning and creativity.
About the founder
Dia is an accomplished vocalist with over 24 years of professional performance experience, singing in 32 languages across four continents. Her expertise in teaching music and work in speech and performance arts makes her uniquely qualified to construct and lead this program, offering participants a rich and engaging learning experience.

Dia is currently completing her MHSc in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto, and holds a Bachelor and Masters in World Music (Ethnomusicology). She brings a deeply entertaining and academic foundation to her work. As a seasoned performer, voice coach, musicologist, and cultural advocate, she has collaborated with diverse global communities with a focus on accessibility and cultural sensitivity.

Dia has extensive experience singing for seniors. Additionally, her volunteer work with adults with aphasia and communication disorders has honed her skills in patience, empathy, and adaptive communication. Passionate about enriching the lives of older adults, Dia combines her talent for entertainment with a deep understanding of the therapeutic and social value of music.
